About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will assist with legal matters related to our software products and services, with a particular focus on data privacy and corporate housekeeping matters.

The candidate must possess excellent English skills, be highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail. This position will report to the General Counsel.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Intern

  • Provide legal support to internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters related to software products and services, with a particular focus on data privacy matters.
  • Manage legal projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Draft and review legal agreements, including licensing, nondisclosure, and vendor agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues related to software products and services, with a particular focus on data privacy matters.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance matters related to software products and services, including data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal matters related to product development and marketing, with a particular focus on data privacy matters.
  • Provide support for corporate governance matters, including drafting board resolutions and maintaining corporate records.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Recent graduate or about to graduate with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from a reputable institution in India.
  • Excellent English skills, including writing and reading.
  • Skilled in using MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Highly organized and structured, with strong project management skills.
  • Good team player, social, and with a good sense of humor.
  • Affinity with data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with legal issues related to software products and services is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
